The Nightmare meme

You're having a nightmare, and you aren't alone. Someone is here with you in tonight's strange, dark dreamscape--for better or for worse.
- Chased: Bears, tentacly monsters, giant vengeful wasps. You need to escape from it but you can't find a way.
- Trapped: Elevator, sinking ship, cave. You're in and you can't get out.
- Performance: It's often quoted that people fear public speaking more than they fear death. You don't know the script, you've never seen this Powerpoint, the teleprompter is blurry as hell... forget falling, you're about to die on stage.
- Hated: You know those dreams where everyone you know accuses you of something terrible and they all hate you now? Yeah. It's that one tonight.
- Disaster! You're on an island and a volcano erupts! You're next to a river and it floods! Never mind how geologically, climatologically, or physically likely it would be in this location in real life, it's happening now.
- Haunting past: Your bad memories are just waiting for you to let your guard down, and what's more unguarded than sleep?
- Wildcard: There are infinite nightmares in infinite combinations... why not put together your own?

"So that's why you come by the bar so often."

His fingers start to trace the shape of his face. Smoothing softly over every plane and sharp line. "A little bit of a voyeur, yeah. And I don't hate the idea of being restrained by you."

He could chuckle at the notion of tying Ash up, though the spark of interest that got was hard to hide. "Really? No one's ever trusted me to tie them up before. Not...without conditions. Being able to get loose easily." And he knew Ashley could, he could tear himself free of anything Ganymede might do, but that wasn't the point. It was that Ash trusted him to do it in the first place, and wouldn't be angry when Ganymede actually wanted the experience of being dominant.

"I like it when you let me be dominant," Ganymede purrs, nose brushing Ashley's and shifting over his cheekbone, moving in intimately close and humming at the contact with his love. "When you give up control for me...you are so sexy, it kills me."

Ganymede knows that part very well.
"Do you remember...about a month ago, you came home from work frustrated, and when I met you at the door I told you we were going to take a shower together, we were eating actual food, and we were going to play that car video game for a dew hours? Chrissy called me that afternoon. And if I'd have known I could have railed you on the kitchen counter to get the same effect...I would have done that too." Ganymede was very capable of making a plan and seeing it to fruition, and making his husband relax and unwind was no different, really. He knew what Ashley enjoyed, he'd had the foresight to make him eat, and take off everything that might have reminded him of his day. "I told you. I like taking care of people."

"I'm going to be the only man you ever trust with that, too," he teases, tongue between his teeth. "You're the only man I want."

"I like being able to get that sound out of you, though. God, you're sexy."

He loves it. Some might think that is a red flag. Ash doesn't care. He likes feeling wanted. Likes knowing it would bother his husband if someone else was interested.
"Then keep going. Only you can do this to me."
no subject
He raked his teeth over Ash's earlobe one more time, and bit sharply at the curve of his jaw, hard enough to leave an impression of his teeth in his love's skin. "I like hearing you...the way you moan for me. Fuck, it goes right to my cock," he chuckled softly into Ashley's ear.
no subject
"What about our game? It's your turn. Truth or dare?"
no subject
"Truth, then."
no subject
"What do you think your biggest red flag is?"
no subject
"I get...stuck sometimes," he whispered. "In the past. Wishing for what might have been instead of what is. Or remembering what actually was."
no subject
"Why do you do that?" Ash asks when their lips part.
no subject
"I don't know," he murmured.

"I don't know why it happens. But I try not to." He doesn't want his past to get in the way of what he has, though it's disturbingly easy for him to slip into that kind of maladaptive daydreaming.
no subject
"It's not a red flag, by the way. Everyone gets stuck in their past at some point. Why do you pull away from me like that?"
no subject
He kept looking down at Ashley's face, gently cupping his cheek in one hand. "Baby boy... I don't like it when I get stuck. When I miss being here and present with you."
no subject
Tilting his face into that palm he sighs. "I don't want you to get stuck either. It's not a red flag though. Not for me." Looking back up at his partner he lingers quietly for a moment, just looking at him. "What is a red flag is when you assume I'm going to get upset with you or react to what you have told me like other people have. If I wanted you to get away from me I would have asked you to."
